Ski Group Lesson

SKI EXPERIENCE Program
A brilliant ski experience for first-timers. This program is conducted by an English-speaking coach.
We will teach you the very basics of skiing in this session.
※We don't use a chairlift in this program.
Eligibility
First-timers only
Age Limit:
4 years old and older
Guardian Policy:
Children under 6 must be accompanied by a guardian.
Morning session:
Reception: 8:50AM 〜 9:45AM
Lesson: 10:30 AM ～ 12:00 PM (1h 30 mins)
Afternoon session:
Reception: 12:30 PM ～ 1:15 PM
Lesson: 2:00 PM ～ 3:30 PM (1h 30 mins)
Lesson Fee:
12,000 yen per person

We have special times set aside for you to enjoy snow-sports.
Morning session :
Reception: 8:30 AM ～ 9:45 PM
Lesson: 10:00 AM ～ 12:00 PM
Afternoon session:
Reception: 12:30 PM ～ 1:15 PM
Lesson: 1:30 PM ～ 3:30 PM
Lesson Fee:
S; Special season: 42,000 yen / person
A; Peak season: 38,000 yen / person
B; Regular season: 35,000 yen / person

Lessons are conducted during less busy periods, such as early mornings and late evenings.

How to Apply

Booking Confirmation & Payment
Your reservation will be confirmed only after payment is completed.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees for lesson bookings are applied as follows:

Up to 4 days before: No cancellation fee applies (0%).

Up to 2 days before: A 20% cancellation fee will be charged.
-
Until 5:00 PM the day before: A 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

After 5:00 PM the day before: A 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

To Our November Guests:
Thank you for considering us for your early-season snow sports! Please be aware that November features limited snow coverage and high resort crowding as visitors arrive from all over Japan.
Before finalizing your reservation, please keep in mind:

Beginner slopes will be narrow, requiring extra caution to avoid contact with other skiers.

Long lift queues mean less time actively skiing, which can be tough for young children.

Coaches will strictly manage skiing speeds and slope choices for safety, which may result in a slower-paced lesson.
If you are a beginner or are booking for a child, we want you to have the best experience possible. If these conditions concern you, please consider joining us from December onward instead. Thank you for your understanding!

Parking Information
For Guests Arriving by Car
We highly recommend using the Parking Lot No. 2 at Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Center, as it provides the closest and most convenient access to the East Area.
Walking Distance to the East Area:

Parking Lot No. 2 (Recommended): 5–10 minute walk

Parking Lot No. 1 (Day-Trip Ski Center): 15–20 minute walk
💡Tip: Parking Lot No. 1 is quite a long walk to the East Area. Please make sure to aim for Parking Lot No. 2 for a smoother arrival!
